2nd October - Denizli, Turkey - Day 11 - Morning [10:30]

The final day is here. The skies are clear at the moment but there is a front moving in from the north west and some of the forecasts are indicating 100% overcast by 14:00. The vehicles are all on their way to takeoff now but it is not certain if we will fly today or not.

Everything is ready for a final task so now we are waiting for news from the organisation.

While we wait, here are the latest videos from Philippe...

Its been a tricky day. About 70 pilots landed in the same area between the third and fourth turnpoints but one pilot hung in there and flew all the way to goal.

The winner of today's task by being the only one to make the goal (2h 27m 59s) is Jacques Fournier (France / Parateam)

First woman today with an overall distance of 40.56km is Petra Slivova (Czech Republic / Merrell)

Today's task is set. This is a zig zag 80.3km Race to a new goal to the north east of Pamukkale. Interestingly, all of the waypoints today have a 2km radius so the actual flying distance is 65.7km.

1st October 2010 - Denizli, Turkey - Day 10 - Morning [10:15]

The weather yesterday was not good. We had a storm in Pamukkale in the morning and it rained several times during the day. However, by the evening it was improving and this morning is much better.

We have a clear sky and the wind is much lighter today so the busses are leaving for takeoff and we are preparing for a task.
