18th January 2011 - Roldanillo, Colombia - Day 3 - Morning [09:25]

Its Tuesday morning and the weather seems to be holding out. There has been some rain in the evenings but, so far, the days are clear and sunny.
The competitors were loaded into vehicles at 7:30 and should be on the launch by now.

Race details for today should be arriving in about an hour and the task will be published here as soon as we get it.

In the end nobody made the goal but the task winner landed just 1km short.

Today has been a tough task and it was won in the end, with a total distance flown of 122.03km, by Andreas Malecki (Germany / MWZ 24, DHV)

Its proving to be a tough task but there are still pilots in the air. A large group have landed half way along the third leg but there is a gaggle on the final goal leg - it looks to be tough though.

The task is running well - at the time of writing we only have 5 pilots who have reported landing.

The task is set. Todays race is 123.3km (139km course line) and is a course to the south of take off and then a zig zag back to the north with a remote goal in Obando which is 24km north east of the take-off.

The start is at 11:40 local time and the task deadline is 17:30.

Another early start today. The busses were loaded and away to the launch by 7:45 - the trip takes about 90 mins so they should all be there by now.

The sun is shining and there are large cumulus floating around the sky - they are moving quite quickly though so it may be fairly windy aloft.
