The final day of the Portugal 2012 Paragliding World Cup event is here and the forecast is looking quite promising. The buses will depart for the North takeoff at 11:00. We will have more news once the conditions have been assessed. Times for the prizegiving are not yet set (we don't know how long the task / retrieve will take yet) but they will be posted here as soon as the decision is made and we will be video streaming the prizegiving as it happens - keep watching....

After a long wait on takeoff the day has been cancelled. There is a strong inversion causing strong winds in the area and the forecast is for the wind to get even stronger later. Tomorrow's forecast looks more promising so we may get one more task in. More tomorrow.....

Yesterday the forecast said that it would be windy today. This morning, however, there is a light breeze and the conditions look similar to yesterday - we are going to take-off in the hope of getting a task. The buses will be leaving soon and more news will be here as soon as we have any....
