2013 World Cup Superfinal will be held in Brazil

Hi again,

Still "live" from the Spring Committee Meeting, we have the pleasure to inform you that the 2013 World Cup Superfinal will be held in Baixo Guandu - Brazil.
The dates will be posted soon....

Gliders allowed during 2014 & 2015 World Cup seasons

Hello pilots,

We're currently running our Spring Committee Meeting and after long, detailed and exhausting discussions, here is the Committee decision, almost "in live" :

2014 Season : PWCA will be run with current EN A to D certified gliders only.

2015 Season : PWCA will accept all EN certified gliders including ENCC if available as a label.
Depending of other possibilities capable to be developed in the meantime, we may enlarge the range of allowed gliders to fly our competitions.

We will keep you posted...

What are paragliding competitions about ?

For the major majority of the general public the term 'paragliding' either means nothing at all or brings to mind images of people being towed behind boats or 'jumping' off hills with a parachute - this isn't the case and we will try to explain a bit more about our sport with these words.

Receipts now available for pilots to download / print

To make it easier for pilots to obtain receipts for entry into Paragliding World Cup competitions we have now created an automatic receipt system. All pilots will now find a 'receipts' tab on the pilot information page (click Pilots then Search Pilots and enter the information needed to find your page). You can create receipts for each event, an entire year or every competition you have paid for in the last 2 years.

These are generated as PDF files so you can download them if you want to.

Changes to Pilot Profiles on the website.

A number of changes have been made to the pilot profile pages of the World Cup website during the SuperFinal in Colombia.
