STATUTES MODIFICATION TO THE CLAUSE 8

The PWC Committee decided to present to the General Assembly the following change in the Statutes.

As it is a change in the Statutes, it has to be voted with a 2/3 majority of the members present or represented.

It is propose to change the first paragraph of the Clause 8 to read :

" There is no quorum required for the General Assembly to deliberate. "

Discussion :

The General Assembly is called during the final where we hardly have hundred pilots. By the time being our members are some 450 pilots which means that we need a proxy system. But even with proxies, it may well happen that the quorum is not met and that we would have in this case a General Assembly called two weeks later with a very little attendance, able to make decisions that concern everybody.

The proxy system remains in force and gives to all the members the possibility to give their input.
