PROXY FOR THE 1998 GENERAL ASSEMBLY

According to our Statutes Clause 8, There is a quorum only if there is one third of all members present or represented. As the PWCA counts some 45O members that means that the quorum is met only if 150 members are present or represented. In case a quorum is not met a new General Assembly must be called within two weeks and this General Assembly may deliberate whatever the level of attendance. That means in this case that almost nobody will join this General Assembly and the decisions will be taken between very fee members

This is the reason why your proxy is important.

According to our Statutes Each member has one vote and he may bring 2 proxy votes to the General Assembly in addition to his own vote. As it may well happen that the pilot you elected to represent you has already 2 proxies, you are invited to nominate 3 members to represent you. Only one will be given your proxy. Just make sure that the pilots you are nominating are selected for the final. The list of the selected pilots is available in the PWC Office and in the PWC Web site as well.
